Built around 1900 and still standing today, old Firehouse #2 in Ybor City looks little like it did while active. The front facade has been stuccoed over and the bell tower removed. The side windows have been blocked up and the interior no longer resembles an old firehouse in any way. On the rear of the structure an addition was done at some time. This was possibly done by the Oliva Tobacco Company, a one time occupant (owner?) of the building, to store tobacco.
